The phrase to watch is becoming very commonplace. In fact, every single sell-side analyst has now adopted it verbatim whenever they are asked about the internet stocks.

None will say anything negative, except merril lynch, and EVERYBODY ELSE SAYS THE FOLLOWING, WORD FOR WORD.

"I don't think you can put a value on these stocks and their prospects"

why don't they finish their thought and say "but we can certainly put a value on the cash we'll get if we can convince them to place their secondary offering through us"
