My thoughts are some of the big tech companies are looking to really have accelerated earnings gains in 1999 and 2000 so this, along with a multiple expansion do to exuberance, could mean another great year for investors. It still boggles the mind to think I have had 20% or more gains in my total portfolio every year since 1994 including 1994! Truly an incredible market!

Someone posted Mr Flip-Flop has gone on record during Moneyline for DJIA 11,000 in 1999 here is where I read it: suite101.com

I don't expect BB to increase his targets that far all at once in the newsletter as it seems he prefers to be cautious and not have to flip-flop his followers. I think most really appreciate this.

The interesting discussion is:

Due to increased volatility at these lofty p/e levels, can we take advantage of it by reducing equity allocations at high end of the range and increasing equity allocations at the low end of the range? To some extent, many of us did this on the last correction starting with BB's warning to "check out allocations".

Happy New Year!
