Always a method to Intel's madness. They have been cutting older, slower microprocessor prices on the eve of newer, faster, better MPUs intros from time immemorial. You really ought to learn more about businesses and companies you like to comment on. Ze expert on Intel:

BTW, most Pentium II speed categories and all Xeons continue to be sold out. Not too much price erosion on those pups. These are the main profit generators for Intel. They use Celeron mostly to fend off AMD.
