Apparently the trade date, not the settlement date, is the relevant date now. I was making the same mistake. We could be seeing the mid-cap funds exiting - though I'm not sure they would exit when there's still a day left in the year. The paranoid MMs theory is bs, I agree. Conspiracies abound on down days, never on up days - so what's new.
