Hi Bobby,
My disclaimer, I'm not a trader-I buy and hold. I see what companies are delivering what the market needs and have the best outlook for the years ahead. With this, I invest accordingly.
So, IMO, in terms of an exit strategy in BRCM, and other tech stocks, the question becomes "What could happen that might have <insert company> fall behind the technology curve". Will management drop the ball, will the company's R&D be invested accordingly or will someone/something unforseen arise and capture the market. If any of the above happens, that's when I look to sell.
In terms of valuation, it's tough to look at BRCM's P/E or any value instrument and say Buy. Many have asked me the same question. Not to dodge the question, but I look at BRCM with so much potential in the years ahead. I won't get too "Gilderish" on you but if you go back on a few months messages on the thread, you see a company that has a vision and is executing their plan.
Hope this helps. Hope you join us.
Happy New Year. Pat |
