Listen my friend I listened to Alan Berg until he was silenced by the right wing. I despised his rhetoric as much as Limbaughs. I never said all leftists were good and all conservatives were bad I loved Goldwater. I guess what is needed is the definition game of what is meant by liberal and conservative as it applies to everything and from what perspective. We have different meanings for the words as they pertain to government, sex,religion, fiscal responsibility and on and on. So we both pick and choose as to what benefits our stance and it goes on and on. I have a real problem with those who see everything in black and white so I guess that makes me the L word.(That's an upgrade though, it used to be communist) I see most issues in shades of gray and open. There is a Chinese saying about the strong oak and the weeping willow tree. That after the storm the oak is down and the willow is still upright.Something to be said about flexibility and "liberalism" the ability for tolerance and change and adaptability. Again in general terms before you go looking for every conservative that ever adapted. The RR is none of these and that is why they will go down on their own merits. I on the other hand could and would change if the evidence was there for e to see, right now it is not, religion is man made. I won't go as far as Nitsche and say God did not create man, man created God but it sure as hell is evident man created religion and anything man has his hand in is suspect
