Alexa-- Perhaps the mice were improperly prepared. Without the ethyl alcohol they're disappointing. If you wish to use them as a sweet, you could try stuffing them with mince and perhaps glazing with maple syrup. Do you know of any good online bookshops? I've recently had a look at amazon.com, which is interesting. I tend to stay away from these things, as it could become an exceedingly expensive habit. Amazon claims to have over a million titles in its catalogue. Haven't poked around too much, but they don't seem to have too much specialist stuff that would be useful to me. That's okay, though; I know where to get that. The main problem is that their international shipping costs are pretty high; if they'd use Direct Sack they could bring 'em down by a lot. May or may not be back. For that matter may or may not be able to submit this. Have been having horrible problems with the net today; I think we've got some sort of routing problem here in Italy, or something's gone wrong with the transoceanic link. Frustrating. Janice
