FILE doesn't have to fit in 100 % with CPWR's business. If acquiring FILE will make the combined entity grow faster than each by themselves, and profits will grow better than each entity by itself, then it makes sense. Also the merger might improve the debt picture, and some unneeded units may be sold off etc. This is just a guess, since they openly announced yesterday about buying a $ 1 to $ 2 billion worth. FILE is down today to about $ 11.7. Maybe yesterday's rapid rise to $ 12.4 was due to mutual funds window dressing! FILE will hit $ 20 sometime in 1999. It has been there before! Today IFMX is up close to $ 9, from its year low of about $ 4+ few weeks ago! Generally software stocks like FILE, IFMX,SYBS are all coming out of their dog days! One of them for sure is going to be acquired in 1999!
