Hello Jeff,
FSR is indeed very tightly controlled with very few sellers below $1.00.. There are also very few buyers as the company is not promoting at all right now. But take a look at their new website just recently launched..IMO something is brewing for 1999.
The average weekly volume over the last year has been near 60,000 shares.
However, I suggest you take a look at the volumes and price rises in the Oct97-Mar98 period when we had that last silver rally. During that period, FSR traded only on the VSE and averaged probably near 200,000 shares per week while the stock price triple from $0.65 to $1.99.
Now the stock is trading TSE only. Operations, cash flows, profits and exploration results have all improved over last year.
In short, I don't know if we gonna get a silver rally this spring, but if we do, there is no doubt in my mind that FSR will make a new high.
BTW, my last special issue had a piece on seasonal trends in silver prices as well as a few words on FSR, MR and others. If interested, I can email you a complimentary copy.
