You're right on the money. Don't fall in love with any stock. I always pick a sell point at the time of purchase. I also never buy a JD pick on his first recommendation(s). I tend to research the company myself and wait to see the trends. Though I must admit that 'Stupid' has sometimes taken over the decision process. Good fortune to you and all of us too.
