J, << Valdimir, come on. The chipsets are in development (at least the TI and MOT ones) and should be out 1Q97 sometime. I have heard nothing to indicate that there are any major problems w/timing, and given the fact that MOT, at least, has been working on the chip for 8 months, I doubt they would throw away their investment now. >> How many times have we seen delays from MOT in the past?!? BTW, the maximum upstream rates achievable by CAP are 64 kbytes/sec.>> I don't think you have done your homework. CAP has been shipping 640 upstream since June '96. This is ~ 10% downstream - a commonly accepted ratio. I believe someone has been giving you incorrect information. Please feel free to continue asking for corrections. I will help you however I can.
