I hope that the Senate conducts a regular trial and votes to acquit the President. It doesn't matter how many months it takes. It is up to the Republicans to explain to the people in the year 2000 elections as to why they thought this was more important than saving Social Security, or passing a meaningful and comprehensive Patients' Bill of Rights...
