Solomon,
I must first point out I am a Canadian and old enough to remember Nixon and the processes that ensued after the Watergate issue.
I follow Americain politics not by choice but because of the infiltration of the Americain media via the cable networks. Not complaining just explaining.
What this all boils down to is politics and I think if you go back to Clinton's second re-election as governor you will find this is where the problem originated.Start thinking about millionaires from Arkansas and you know what I mean. Then take it ahead a few notches. When has there been such a battle between the right and left in Americain politics?
Sex is the hot topic......plain and simple.......and it is a product of the 60's re-visited when the so called moral majority is now controlled by the humbled few who were lost. The polls in america speak for the vast majority and are not a reflection of the movement towards impeachment.Oh yes the house has voted to impeach but there is a house of sober second thought(The Senate).
Everyone knew that it was a "fait a complait" that the house would vote to impeach. The Republicains control the "House of Representatives" It was their moral duty as representatives to do the same. Remember they have a duty to be re-elected.LOL They also knew that the burden of responsibility for the final proceedings (the Trial) would be out of their hands. They could walk away and say they did what they thought was right.Unfortunately, they made a mistake.I am not defending Clinton but critiquing the process. They frowned upon polls regardless of how they were done and I feel the Americain people will not soon forget this. They may have won the vote but unless peoples memories are short(usually) they may come to regret the same.
The Senate on the other hand will look at this in a different light and although the vote may appear close "censure" will be the outcome and the Presidency will survive.Any other outcome will weaken the fabric of the Americains to be "Just and fair".

As a footnote----Polls can be designed to acheive what a person wants to acheive. We all know that.My question that I would pose to the average americain to prove my point is this>>>>>>>>>>

"Have you ever lied about having sex to anyone?

Best regards,
OSPREY
