Don,

I concur.

I am a small business owner and will replace all PCs the coming year.

What was state-of-the-art a few years ago, now is slower than a snail
with the brakes on.

While my current PCs are still functional, increased use of the Internet
make the shortcomings increasingly evident.

My guess, this pretty much would be anyone's viewpoint who finds him- or
herself in the same position.

Y2K only reinforces the feeling that now is the right time.

As to S3, I have been lurking. Never sold a share, only bought a little
at a time to average down, but admittedly, felt scared when it dipped below
2 and did not dare to buy.

The future appears bright, but it will take some good quarters to make
the market a believer. The recent activity probably has put a lot of stock
in strong hands. Once the stock will take off, we may be in for a great ride.

In the meantime we will continue to tread water and there may be some changes
to add at lower levels. This time I won't be afraid.
