Actually, I think you are very close to the truth, Brady, about the barter system. Aren't they both running ads for AOL as well as running their own ads on AOL? This would be a good way to work it if their credit is shot, making it difficult to buy ads, and, at the same time, web sites aren't willing to accept their ads because of past non-payment problems. While it may be back-handed, this IS a compliment to management. It's a creative way of dealing with a problem. Barter takes the risk out of the transaction.
