You are sadly mistaken, in my opinion.

Slick and his team is notorious for leaking unfavorable news as soon as possible so that they could put their own spin on it and control what was leaked. They have used that tactic repeatedly. They leak it in such a manner that tends to place the blame on anyone but themselves. Ask Sidney Blumenshite.
