And on the bogus tender offer issue... "We also want to warn subscribers not to participate in a couple of tender offers. Hoping to take advantage of those too busy or too naive to read the fine print, Summit Venture Partners has offered to buy 2% of Nam Tai Electronics (NTAIF) for $9.00 a share and IG Holdings has offered to buy 2% of Cabletron Systems (CS) for $6.38 a share. Considering that NTAIF now trades at $11 and CS near $8, we find these offers to be insulting and question how the SEC would allow such a "scam" to take place. We have heard that Summit Ventures and IG Holdings represent the same entity which has approximately 50 other below-market-price tender offers outstanding."
