I would agree that, in a sense, the bull did die earlier this year, even if the dow goes higher. If we do get new highs in the dow, then I think it's likely that we'll crash from up there somewhere, and that it will be a terrible drop.

I don't think we will crash from this level though. From here we could "correct" down to 7400 and then crash.

FWIW, here's my latest guess:
I'm expecting consolidation/correction now, followed by more rallying with the dow making new highs as more foreign money moves in. We may have to go through a few jolts as international circumstances worsen before all that money is scared into the US. Once we have all of Japan's and Europe's money in our market it will be straight down. Our market is the penultimate safe haven for the world. After it caves in, gold will be the only safe place to be and that glorious gold bull will begin.
