Actually have a friend that lives within walking distance (ok a long walk) down by Lake Street. Less crowded at that end so we are going to walk down a couple of hours before the parade. About 12 years ago I went down to Colorado Blvd. at around 9:00pm. It was cold, crazy and the lines were about 1/4 mile long for the Porta-pots. We left at around 11:30pm and watched the parade on TV. I pretty much hate parades, but my wife wants to go just once....
