According to the latest issue of MONEY Magazine, plans are in the works to spin off the bottling unit sometime in the 2nd Quarter 1999.This should spur PEP earnings growth since bottling is so capital intensive.

Otherwise, the article trashed PEP return on investment when you compared the same investment with K. Whatever happened to the long term attractive valuations with 50% of revenues coming from the Frito Lay Division and the Tropicana revenues coming online?

Pepsi One is doing well(It's been sold out at the local grocery stores here is the SF Bay Area)

How can you go wrong with Doritos???
