Peaceful,
It took Wall Street years to accept AOL (recently added to S&P 500). Following "them" gives you 20% or so return a year. Only few Internet stocks are going to make it but the once that do will easily cover any loses from the once that don't. Internet has not even started in terms of revenues, when you can design and order your own car, house, vacation,... then the real business will start. Automakers are already designing web sites and car components which will allow you to create your own custom car on the web, the same way more fortunate ("rich") where able to do in the past.

I have also seen 3-D web pages at Microsoft. Quality of TV commercials with interactive response, this alone can change the web again as well as create demand for new faster microprocessors (and that is what Intel wants) and with that give more power to the end user.

A lot of changes to come in the near future, as always Wall Street will be officially behind (wonder how many of those analysts privately own Internet stocks - probably more then they want you to know).
