Ken/Hardly, thanks for the excellent posts! One other big difference between MSFT and ORCL on Web Apps is that MSFT has little to nothing to offer on Enterprise Resource Planning application solutions-web enabled or non-web. Is the MSFT vision for businesses to run or automate business processes like finance/supply chain/DRP.... on desktop spreadsheets and word processors?

Oracle is the only company in the enviable position of being able to offer complete end-to-end ERP solutions via the web. They are very very well positioned to become the so called 900lb gorilla in the Ecommerce B2B and B2C marketplace. Oracle, not MSFT, has the keys to the vault. Is MSFT asleep at the wheel once again?

Thoughts, opinions, anyone?
