Trey -- You asked whether the cableco internet connection is in addition to video service. The answer where I am is "yes". My monthly TV cable bill would jump from $65 to $105 if cable access to the internet costs $40 (presuming, of course, that it is offered and that this is the price). Access through my local phone co (BellAtl) is similarly an add on to my current phone bill. Thus, a typical monthly local phone bill of $25 (voice only) would go up by $40 for 640K in & 90K out if I use my own ISP and by $60 if I use BellAtl as ISP. BTW, BellAtl offers 1.6M in & 90K out for $60/mo (if you use your own ISP) or for $100/mo. if you use it as ISP. Its prices for 7.1M in & 680K out are $110/mo. for just the service and $190 if BellAtl is also the ISP. [Note: I'm not a BellAtl shareholder or employee, just a residential customer.]
Regards,
Harry
