MESSAGE TO ALL: Year end reflections and predictions for the New Year.

The recent fin de millenium madness in internet stocks and the return of the raging bull has had some wizzened old-timers like Mr. Pink doing exorcist-like head spins....and has had Mr. Pink feeling like projecting some of that split green pea soup colored substance across the room.....High points of '98 were marked by numerous short picks, the best of all being Mr. Pink's T5/F rating on FP at 22 bucks a share, now 2 and change...But don't forget the early year success in ACRT where He exposed Amos Aharoni to be a criminal and later shorts on REXI, CLCX, SIR, OCN, CCSI and many others.

Recent winners like DBCC, MALL and FHT have reflected His value orieted approach to playing the intenet hysteria game.

Such selections brought much fame to Mr. Pink who has now been quoted in such diverse publications as the WSJ, American Banker, and on line publications such as Thestreet.com, Dow Jones Newswire, IIonline...He has also been referred to in press releases by companies such as TNSI, REXI, FP, ACRT and others in explaining their own miserable performance.

Is Mr. Pink perfect? hardly, He also picked AHG, a disaster, ICBC, dead money and was too early shorting TNSI....

But all in all it was a decent year.

So what does Mr. Pink see in store for next year?

His favorite pick is a mundame maker of animal feed, AGX, Agribrands International...The company trades at under 3 times enterprise value to cash flow and is run by Bill Stiritz, a wyley and secretive old bastard, but one of the best business managers in the business...His outlook is long-term and so should yours be, but Mr. PINk has a price target of 60 bucks, a double in 2 years.

His other favorite is VTR, a REIT trading at 12 that should pay out 1.60 this year...It would not be unreasonable for the shares to trade to an 8pct yield or over 18 bucks, but Mr. Pink targets at least 16 bucks (don't forget you get another 1.60 in dividends in a year) over the next 12 months.

For a little more sex appeal, Mr. Pink loves FSFH, a leasing company with an intenet angle....could trade through 20 from 12 by q2.

Also look at MDM as an interesting restructuring play....

It has been a good year for Mr. Pink and His friends...But do not forget a man's worth should be measured not by what he makes but by what he gives, so don't forget your charity, especially for the little ones who can't look after themselves.

God bless, health and happiness to all in the new year,

Your friend,

Mr. Pink
