I am hoping I am wrong......I have never heard of a fund manager announcing exactly when and what they were going to buy AND how much they needed to buy....obviously this is a special situation. I just think the MM will "manipulate" the price to THEIR advantage not Vanguard's or ours. If they can drive the price down and shake out the weak holders that is all the more shares they can sell to the index funds at a higher price, isn't it?? I am far from an expert....sorry if I sounded that way.....I just don't want anyone to think that the stock market is 100% on the up and up , so to speak. Never has been and never will be. OK, forget the land in Florida. I don't own any anyway. But, I do have this Rolex....... Cheers
