Alex you think that Market Makers ripped you off? Remember that prices are based on a number of factors including volatility. Did it occur to you when you paid 3 3/4 for the option you were paying close to 50 volatility and when you saw it just the other day it was closer to 36 volatility? We didn't make the volatility go up nor did we make it go down. The strong surge of buying over the past month caused vol to go up. Remember we don't set the prices...you do.
