Paul, I've been thinking about Intel's transition to .18 micron and I'm wondering how long it will take to happen. Intel keeps on saying that this is going to be the fastest ramp up yet. Do you agree?

Earlier in the year (around April) I saw a chart that showed the crossover point where .18 wafer starts match .25 wafer starts occurring in the first quarter 2000. However, since April Barrett and company have stated the ramp is accelerating, but I haven't seen any new charts showing the crossover.

What is your best guess as to when this will occur? If it is sooner rather than later the genius analysts who think AMD is a strong buy will have to reconsider their so called analysis - but I doubt they will. I think Klauer will always be second rate.

Doug
