Hi Len,

Good question.

I think SAP is the killer. "Gorilla"

Oracle will slowly creep up, and might eat them all.Or at least, be a Gorilla with SAP.

JDEC is also pretty good, and might keep it's "niche"

PSFT , I really do not know.
It should be dead by now, the technology is so shitty.

But it survived and prospered. Go figure..

Now, the market is not expanding as fast, so I think not all companies will be winners (as in the past).

SAP, ORACLE and JDEC will survive..

I think PSFT's days are numbered, and it will be "ashton-tated, borland'ized, novell'ized" i.e. reduced to irrelevance, i.e. buyout or bankrupcy.

Look at what PSFT had to do, creative $ 300 Million financial gimmicry to put their R&D subsidiary OFF the Books of the main company.

Do you see any other of the other companies doing this ? I don't.

MicroSoft, SAP, JDEC and Oracle have R&D "In-House". Not PSFT ? Why ?

Looks really bad, IMO

Your choice.
Take care
Jean
