My tax situation is this;

I'm taxable in Australia till June 98. Taxable in US FROM Jan 99. Since I'm not working right now, any monies I earn thru stock are not taxable in US till Jan 99, since that's not my profession - or so I've been told by E&Y.

I don't talk about fundamentals of a company becoz fundamentals are not applicable in internet industry. And I can say that till I am blue in the face - and you would still dispute it. So I avoid the topic totally.

Wash rules may not necessarily be applied for loss - they may be applied in situations where tax manipulation is possible. I'm avoiding tax - so they may apply.
