I was chiding you precisely because you are so intelligent. You may not think this matters, but there are people who read your posts who are not as intelligent as you are, who may be influenced by your thinking. You are right, it is just a joke, but you are also right that "there is tremendous content that is presented here."
Also, I read posts like yours that are serious, that seem like they would, in fact, "jeopardize (their) financial health over principles, frustration, etc." I don't know them well enough to say anything to them. Although you are just a squiggle on a computer screen, as another friend told me, you are also a friend.
