I love this thread. First we have Randy The Steer easily outperforming the market; then we have the brilliant academicians at Third Ave. Funds telling us that index funds are no damn good when personal experience, Bob Brinker and probably Randy The Steer are telling us otherwise. Leads me to believe that Randy The Steer and the brilliant academicians are using essentially the same tools in their work. Happy New Year everyone.
