The software -- Netscape Publishing System version 1.6 and Netscape Merchant System version 1.6 -- are aimed at companies building new businesses on their World Wide Web sites. Netscape said that more than 150 customers are using its commercial applications to deliver content, merchandise and services to consumers online, including Macromedia Inc , National Geographic and SportsLine USA.
