Once upon a time. Sgi has a borg and a borg. But the borg I think of at the borg is not the borg. But the borg I think of at the borg is not the borg that sgi thinks of as the borg and therefore the sgi sgi borg will help kill the borg which will not help sgi as sgi is at war with sgi.
But HP knows the borg and has a kyack to transport their borg(clone) to a place where the borg who is not the borg will help them profit even as the borg suffers.
I've tried to make this clear and simple. Any one wanting to know if they have technical merit or simply need to seek counciling can find out here.

Summary,,,,,,,,
For a complete description of why Windows NT is an ill adviced choice as server operating system check this paper comparing Windows NT server 4.0 versus Unix. Quote from this paper:
"Why Windows NT Server 4.0 continues to exist in the enterprise would be a topic appropriate for an investigative report in the field of psychology or marketing, not an article on information technology. Technically, Windows NT Server 4.0 is no match for any Unix operating system, not even the non-commercial BSD's or Linux".
However newer nine developments may be very benefical to SGI, IMHO.
However, those who charge a zillion, ample, coppers kinda say... that all revenue being equal, SGI rates a 4 sale. We three are no longer holding on. |
