Hi Don,
Based on my eavesdropping on posts between George and Frank, it's my understanding that lubrication IS good. What do I know.

"Granted that there are a lot of large networks that won't require
more than a software patch..."

I'm sure that you didn't intend to minimize what's involved with the Y2K issue with that statement. We just released a version of our software that included changes for the Y2K issue. The Y2K changes affected 40% of the 3000 programs we support. Granted, they weren't major changes, just a lot of them. They only accounted for about 10% of all the changes for enhancements and fixes. AND, supplying our customers with the changes doesn't guarentee that they can't come up with some combination of variables to identify a bug in our Y2K fix. But at least then it's not a Y2K issue...it's just a programming bug.

So, when can I get a Savage3D-2 powered card? And, is it going to be worthwhile if all I have is a 133 non-MMX chip?

JP

"Onward", George, and upWARD Come on 8 something!!
