Now that I've installed the program it's obvious it just takes the info from either the BIOS or the same ports as the BIOS to get M/B temp and fan speed. It's nice having it on the desktop w/out having to go into the BIOS though. As stated before I doubt the accuracy of the readings. Why isn't there a provision for monitoring the case fan speed? Maybe the BH6 doesn't support this option. I notice the BIOS doesn't show the case fan speed either. Question: Do you have any knowledge of CPU cooling through software means only? I once downloaded a program that supposedly cooled the CPU in this fashion but had no way to validate the results. halfscot
