It is pent up supply. It is kinda like being on a long trip and drinking 2-3 big gulps along the way. You are in the passenger seat and the driver will not stop unitl he reaches the destination. You can bet that as soon as the car stops, you will run out to the nearest bathroom. Walking slowly could be disasterous. Another more appropriate analogy is the fact that many employees will exercise immediately after their stock options vest, especially when the stock is up ten-fold. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth. Guru.
