So life looks good at 1.5 Mbps..I agree....10 meg file download in less than a minute and instant "decoding" of alt.binaries....:)

But when I read the SI posts, its the SI server that is the rate determining step when it comes to speed. CU-SEE-ME, for some reason still seems crummy...

But then again, I forgot the days of my 26400 bad phone line connects..., maybe with 8Mbps, and a killer application (high qualtiy mulimedia, CD-music) I will soon forget my cable modem
