Gary, you are right on the money. Bill McGowan (founder of MCI) once was asked early in MCI's evolution: What business are you in? Bill responded with something like: "I'm in the business of building a huge, unprofitable network -- and then filling it up!" It sure worked for McGowan and it seems to be the same strategy for QWST. The analysts like this ML guy seem so focused in the intermediate term bottom-line implications... ridiculous for a company that is on a mission like QWST where they know the pay-off comes in 2-5 years. But these institutional opinions also provide the "wall of worry" that great stocks like QWST like to climb.
