Texas Dude, thanks for providing an example, of how some, view this matter. There is no change in tax on revenues generated in the U.S. The great U.S.A. is not deprived of any tax on sales made in the U.S.

But you know this is a big world. When earnings from Germany or Japan are repatriated to the U.S. there can be different tax impact. Being domiciled in Bermuda or elsewhere can reduce the tax burden on those earnings.

The U.S. with the F.D.A. focus on efficacy as well a safety is just one example of how difficult this country makes it for a biotech to survive. Capital flows to other areas, regardless of their real importance. We all cry about the plight of the biotech industry so when a chance to do something positive comes along I say think about it with care. read the prospectus. Don't think, that one is somehow cheating the U.S. anymore than one buys a product made somewhere else.

I appreciate you view and it for this reason I am trying to get others to do what you did, think about it even if you don't like it and vote yes, when you realize it makes sense. I am keyed up about it because I am concerned about the ability of biotechs to attact financing. A lower tax burden also makes them potentially more attractive to equity markets.
