Hi reg,
RTZ has expanded thew Argyle open pit diamond mine. I suspect that they have enough production of relatively low quality diamond at this time. Perhaps Diavik will get developed some day, after Argyle is depleted and acording to RTZ's schedule (whatever that might be-will we all live long enough?). Afterall, even Wallmart can only sell so much "Indian Trade Goods". As for ABZ going after WSP? What Winspear shareholder in his right mind would want to accept the dilution????especially with all the inherent project risk attached to open pit mining a pipe full of relatively lower quality diamond, in a lake, of all places. It would be a great deal for ABZ shareholders though.
regards,
teevee
PS. A NL writer named Madel? has recommended selling WSP since $2.00 and switching into ABZ. He thinks there is less risk in Snap Lake by owning ABZ because you get Diavik with the ABZ share.
