THE REASON SNDK LEAPT:
As those who read this thread know, I contribute now and again, and read always. I'm one of those that bought at $10, saw $40, held, saw $5-ish, and have bought more throughout the past 2 years at 9-ish, 12-ish, 24-ish (uck) and so on.
And now for the news: The reason SNDK made a bold move is that yesterday I received a late Christmas present from my love, a Nikon Coolpix 900 digital camera, in itself a wonderful gift. That it came with a 4MB Nikon Flash card was okay....BUT...the guy in the store conned her into buying a supplemental 10MB SanDisk CompactFlash card. It was the first thing I saw when I opened the box.
Now, this lady knew nothing of my stock holdings, and I saw the Sandisk carton, and thought "what the hell..."
So, our stock rises as even those of us in the know, who expected nothing, who are too cheap to buy SNDK products (but have sunk WAY too much into SNDK stock) get a gift of SanDisk anyway.
When we hit $30, I'll snap a picture of the Quote.Com screen and e-mail it to you all.
Happy New Year,
