Frank, I have to agree with Ski. Were did you get that BS about investors moving out of other graphics companies, especially ATI. The other graphics companies are emulating ATI's business model (designing chips and manufacturing the boards...ie 3DFX). Another thing - Intel is not getting out of graphics. On the contrary they will be a force to be dealt with. I do not know what nail you think you hit on the head but you are wrong about Intel getting out of graphics. In the near future Intel will be releasing CPU's with graphics built in the CPU. At first it will be aimed at mainstream low end systems and mid range systems. That is were ATI and S3 play. Why do you think S3 wants to design Multimedia CPU's like Cyrix. It kinda bothers me when I see posts hypeing a stock from someone who was hypeing when it was $10-$12, dropped out of sight when it crashed and then popps up saying I told you so when the stocks seems to be on the path to recovery. Everyone is welcome to a opinion but lets try to keep some reality. Personally - I bought a little at $8.5 (stupid)and a little more at $6 3/8. I will buy on the dips. S3 moving in the right direction for a change. Intel move very positive but now S3 has to make it on their own. There is no OEM wins for Savage. Savage2 and the chips that come after have to make S3. They need OEM design wins and that will not happen until Q299 so they have this quarter and next quarter of losses. Hopefully Q299 they can back to being profitable. Happy New Year to all stockroach
