Hey everyone! How do y'all feel today? Good I hope. :)

I am wondering about a theory I have surrounding this question: What happens when the outstanding stock available for trade is accumulated by investors who are in for the long term? I mean shares of the stock "disappear" into investor portfolios and are held. Of course this will serve to drive the price up but then what? We aren't talking about a lot of shares floating in the open market. I mean with all the buy, buy, buy, what happens if nobody sells? Am I demonstrating my inexperience well enough to at least get a good laugh or is there something to this?

Curious...and yes I do lie awake at night dreaming this up,

Jonathan
