Rich and Friends:

A prosperous New Year 1999 to all.

I've stayed the course to the end of this year following the meta saga.
Now its time to place it all on the shelf for others to examine. Whether you believe it was gross business stupidity, criminality or a combination, I think we ought to be able to agree that it was worth investigating the facts. I think Tom and Val did a good job defending the interests of shareholders, taking a lot of flak along the way. The alternative was to sit on their hands (as so many did). If that were generally the way things got treated, the US public markets would collapse. Thankfully it is not- and I assume we all have moved on to other endeavours. Good luck to you that pass by here and read, and a prosperous 1999.
