I have followed this thread for along time, and I have still not seen anyone explain how Yahoo will even gross a billion in revenue, let alone a billion in profit.
Keep in mind...Yahoo's product is free.
They don't sell anything.
They don't make money from e-commerce. ( other than renting server space and software through their Via-web sub)
They make revenue based on banner ads.... even using the most optimistic projections, it isn't mathematically possible under their present business model for them ever to achieve the type of revenue to justify their current market cap.
