Kerry,
With all due respect, you may want to take a look at a post (http://www4.techstocks.com/~wsapi/investor/reply-7048977) I made earlier today in response to a note from Dave Gahm about how Micron may be getting enough market share that they won't be able to ramp production without adversely affecting overall market conditions and pricing. I acknowledged that Dave's point may indeed be valid but that we'll have to wait to see for sure. I fleshed out Dave's argument and discussed another facet of it. That doesn't particularly strike me as an overly one-sided approach to the MU discussion. As I said earlier, I enjoy thoughtful comments, pro or con, on MU--provided there's some reasonable, intellectual justification behind the point of view.
Obviously I am long on MU because I buy in to what I believe is a compelling value proposition. Don't see any reason to be apologetic for that. My take on MU is that we may see a bit more of a pullback, but the long-term fundamentals are very, very strong for the company. I expect to see quite a run for the stock starting in the not-too-distant future.
FWIW, my intent in the post to which you refer was not to flame someone, and I do apologize if it was taken that way.
Regards,
SlowThinker
>For someone who recently flamed someone for being one-sided, SlowThinker doesn't seem to be posting too many bearish opinions on MU. Interesting... |
