Aastra Wins Order for a U.S. Telephone Company Promotional Program

TORONTO, Dec. 9 /CNW/ - Aastra Technologies Limited (ASE: AAH) is pleased to announce that it has won an order to provide one of its Caller ID devices to a major telephone company in the United States. The order, valued at US$3,400,000 or Cdn$5.2 million, will be used in a promotional program running for the first quarter of 1999. During this program, the telephone company will be giving away Aastra's Caller ID device to new subscribers of its Caller ID service.
