What about the person who gets out to kill again?
Society has the absolute right to protect itself. To keep the most vilent and vicious amongst us, seperate from the rest, for our greater good.
One thing you must remember is this, would it be better if we could rehabilitate these people, teach them to love others and treat them with respect? Absolutely! It would be cheaper, more moral, more effective, and moe humane. Ae we capable of that as a society, at this point? Not to my knowledge. Is God capable? I would think so.(I am still talking about your eternal soul, not you time on earth in this body). Is there a need for celestial prisons? Can souls committ violence to one another? I certainly don't know, but I doubt it. there fore this question is a very good and reasonable one, but in my opinion, it is a different issue than what we have been talking about.
