I don't know if I can help with those ?'s, but it has been my experience that when you see such a rediculous spread, such as 1/8 x 6.00, you can almost anticipate a HUGE naked short position, and this split you mentioned, which I know nothing about, may have been brought about for some very sinister reasons. I would watch the bid very closely. If it rises, without the ask rising, then I would think some MM's are trying to shake shrs, but if the ask rises, without the bid rising, then they are obviously seeing many, many buyers. A similiar situation may have occurred w/ICCN last yr, when the ask was like 3.00, and the bid was .25, or something. Anyway, I believe the MM's eventially won in the end (don't they always), because it's in the pennies again. Blackie
