Dear Peter:

I thought in my last post I directed you to a definition of this so called gray area you keep referring to! But just like any other ultra conservative Republican of the late 1990's you seem to close your eyes when it comes to things you wish not to read (such as the US Constitution and its fundamental concepts!). Oh well, it is understood!

In any event, to answer to your question of the so called gray area you are referring, I give you the following. Read it, think about it, and then I am sure you can come to the conclusion that the so called Liberals (just like the extreme right) can come up with a similar definition of the so called this gray area you keep referring to!!!

Let's see what the Chairman of the Judiciary Commitee has to say on the subject of lying.

And the rule for Republicans seems to be that lying under oath about things other than adultery is not actionable. Hyde explained this standard best when excusing lies in the Iran-contra affair. It did not make sense, he said, to "label every untruth and every deception an outrage...in the murkier grayness of the real world, choices must often be made."
